Black and Cream

Finally, I've created something different from my usual! I have been wanting to do a cream and black card since seeing the blk and cream pp in the occasions mini. I love the new pp, but just don't need that many pieces. If I could only get 1 or 2 of them. I got the Bliss stamp set free from the SAB promotion. I didn't like it at first, but then thought of going outside my comfort zone. I had some ideas in my head and then looked at the occasions mini and realized my idea's were similar. I love this new background folder from SU called Vintage Wallpaper. I don't have a Big Shot, but it worked well in the Cuttlebug. These folders make deep impressions. I also used my new scallop oval punch and did some layering. The big Bliss image is stamped on the cream and I used the oval punch to cut it out. My fab friend Mel gave me some of her SU black lace. Very nice lace! Now, I'll go overboard making cream and blk cards. lol

Thanks for stopping by for a look see!

Birthday Bakery Store Front

I saw a card like this on SCS in the Birthday Bakery section by debzi333 and had to give it a try! It was really easy to look at her card and copy. Something totally different and easy is my level of crafting! This stamp is really getting used the last couple days.

I stamped the image with blk craft ink directly onto the Whisper White. Used the window punch for the awning and bottom window ledge. I think I might make another one of these today. Still need more Bday cards.

Cheers!

Birthday Bakery Cards

I have 4 Bday's coming up and also Vday is soon around the corner. I cased the red and blue card from Mamamostamps on SCS. Loved the red and blue glittery paper from Candy Cane Christmas paper and thought what a good idea to use for Bday's. This was the best pp SU has ever come out with!
I have a hard time with masculine cards, but found in all my pp pieces some more masculine coloured pp and used a similar design to the red and blue card. The image is from the SU Hostess Set - Birthday Bakery. I coloured with matching copics to the papers, added silver for the trays and stickles for some shine to the white. Nothing fancy, but a nice easy card to do!
Thanks for a having a looky loo!

Baby Peyton Has Arrived!

One of my bestest girlfriends had her 3rd baby on Halloween morning! Another girl! Peyton Morgan is her name. How cute! I am a bit bummed, as I won't get to meet Peyton until she's about 6 weeks old. That is what happens when friends move away. :o(
I had already made her a card and given her a gift when we went up to visit the wknd before, but it was a quick not very nice card. I wanted to make a nice card to mail her. I think I accomplished that. It was nice to take a break from Xmas themed cards to make something with pinks.
I hope you are all busy making your holiday cards! I know I need to get back in and make lots more.
Happy Crafting!

Anya Witch - Boo To You & RRR10

One of two cards I made for my girls for Halloween! I had this on SCS and a lady named True uggested I submit this to Really Reasonable Ribbon's blog. Great looking talent on their design team. So, why not give it a go, eh!

Thanks True for the suggestion and letting me know of RRR.

Freaky Flutter Bday Girl Cake Card For Kels Bday

I bought myself a couple of new digi images from TGF last month. The Freaky Flutter Girl Cake one and the Anya Witch on a broom. I had a upcoming girlfriends Bday, so I had to give this girl a try. She's fun to colour! The layout was from TGF, maybe? Inside the card says - 100% True Friend. Kels and I have been friends for about 24 yrs. Wow, we are getting old. haha. I'm taking her out today for high tea. Love the little place that has hosts the high tea. It's like Gramma's cottage. I've also been busy making Xmas and Halloween cards. Fall brings the time to hide away in the dungeon being crafty.

Happy Crafting to all of you!

Cards That I Have Made In The Last 6 months!

Lisa's Bday card
Mel's Bday Card
Girls Easter Cards

Aunt Dene's Bday card

Wow, it's been forever since I have posted on my blog! Really, I haven't made very many cards in the last 6 months. We did a lot of travelling this past Spring and Summer. Disneyland for a week in April, with my Mom and girls. Maui for 9 days in June with my husband to celebrate our 10th Wedding Ann. 2 weeks in July driving back to Ontario and then home through 7 States. Then in August - 1 week in Parksville on Vancouver Island and 1 week up at Shuswap Lake. We had a fab. summer! Incredible really! Now, it's fall and time for Holiday Cards to be made. I've actually got 10 done so far. I've kept it really simple this year!
I hope you all have been busy being creative and crafty!
Happy Fall to All!
