SC188 Hula Penguin Girl

I just realized I had forgotten to post this last card on my blog. I used my newest paper and stamp that I purchased from The Paperworks Co. I have only ever done a couple purchases online and this company is one of them. I've had great service from this co. and they have great prices. I kept it really simple on this one! I'd love to get a card made for this weeks cc., but with going away for 2 weeks this Sat. I doubt I'll find the time! Happy last couple weeks of summer everyone!
Recipe:
Papers - Basic Grey Euphoria Bless paper, Orchid Opulence, Celery, Cool carib, PiP and WW
Inks - Black stazon, Cool carib, creamy caramel
Other stuff - Turquoise stickles on bikini top, aquapainted the bikini top first. Masked the penguin to make the water, sand and sponged some carib for the sky. Added a couple paper flowers and a purple gem brad for the flower in her hair. Then I added some paperpiercing.

So summery, love the glittery bikini!! Sooo cute. You also did a fabu job on the paper piercing. I like the formation you used. Have to tuck that away in my ideas file!
Have a wonderfully relaxing rest of the summer and I hope that you're preparing an "off to school" celebration for yourself, that includes some stamping time. :-) It's such good therapy!

Now she is too cute! The colors and the design is just perfect for her and that flower in her 'hair'.
