This is so embarassing, I had to put it on here. After all the work, I do and use the little circles on the light brown paper to line up my other layers and wow...obviously that was a crooked cut. How frustrated am I!!! I am so anal, that I can spot this drunken looking mess from across the room where I see it. I'll save this card to give to a friend when she's already drunk... so she can't tell. ;o) I finally got around to using the berry bliss paper. I will have to try this again. This time I will count on my eyes for visual lining.. not a cut piece of paper!!!! Hey Mel... you're Bday is soon. Have a couple drinks before you open this piece of work up! I thought the layout I came up with while bored watching the grammy's wasn't too bad. I know it's been used before and not a original, but it all came to me quickly while sitting there. Brad Paisley came on and that was my cue to go into the dungeon. Sorry to any that are a fan! He could probably make a straighter card. Done babbling... for now! Off to listen to my husband snore. Elbow is locked and loaded!

Blue For You
This was for one of the colour challenges and sketch challenges recently on scs. I thought I'd pull out my newest stamp set.. One of A Kind to make this card. I like using the 3 flower one as a bg stamp. I hear we will be getting new ones to replace them as they don't line up with punch. I had held off ordering the punch because of that problem. Soon, I'll get to punch out the flowers to match, instead of hand cut it. The colours I used are Real red, Blue bayou and Soft sky. I stamped the flower first on the white paper and then stamped again and cut out the red stamped flower image. Stamped the blue little flower and cut it out for the centre and added a red gem for some more colour. I actually don't mind this colour combo and layout. I've been keeping cards really simple lately... not to say I am ever really extremely talented. I've just wanted simplicity and not really detailed like that of the cards I really do admire on scs. Some people can pull off grand details so well.
Baby Pea
I needed to come up with a quick baby card. Not knowing the sex is so hard to pick the colours. I did the standard green, blue and yellow and then added some amethyst. I kept it really simple. Embossed the stamped image and then coloured it in. Added some bg stamping, soft subtles ribbon and different coloured baby brads to give it a little something. The stamp is I think called baby pea from Stampin Bella that a friend lent to me. Thanks for stopping by for a look. I need to take the time to make some nicer cards. One day!!
